SPACE PLANNING
The display of this course work is to serve the purpose of showcasing my process work and my first steps into designing. In this course I had my first experience with hand drafting. I learned how to research spec furnishings, calculate the amount of space needed, and implement ADA guidelines. In the two projects I have shown, they both will be using IBC code. In this project I was given a floor plan for a commercial office, on the sixth floor of a commercial building where there were demising walls, in this project I learned how to take needs of the client and implement them. I made spatial studies to figure out how much space I would need for each room, and then work around the mullions and the plan to make it work. I designed a plan based on human psychology in the workplace, how to keep them happy, productive and refreshed.

FINAL RETAIL PROJECT
In this project I was given a pre-existing building in Denver, CO. The client wanted to keep some of the original architectural elements. In this project I based the floor plan off of research on sales psychology and security.
