Spring Hills is an elementary school that focuses on the safety and psychology of learning environments. The layout of the school leaves plenty of room for play and relationship-building between students. The use of organic lines and materials relates back to the well-being of the children in the space. For the safety and security of the children within this learning center, there were several CPTED strategies put into place. Some of these CPTED strategies included a clear line of sight with the use of more glass walls, card readers and or keypads at entrances and exits, one entrance to enter, and formal surveillance.
