THE VILLA
Welcome to the Villa. This project was born in my Architectural Modeling course where I learned how to custom model elements within the 3D modeling software Revit. The guidelines for this project were to create a residential home and create several custom 3D elements. As far as aesthetics go, I created a client story for the basis of aesthetics. I was heavily inspired by French, Italian, and Spanish country homes. I wanted to model a home that felt otherworldly, organic and earthy.

CLIENT STORY
Neo and Blake are a couple that have children who have gone off to college. They have just bought a new home in southern Italy. They both love the French country type of home but they also are looking for a home that feels like a modern villa. They want their space to feel earthy, organic and a sense of warmth, this can be done through materials and colors. They want neutral colors and lots of stone. They love natural lighting and want their home to have tons of it. The couple has shown a few inspirational images including wood-beamed ceilings, indoor outdoor spaces, and organic shapes.
